Course of Legal History: Feminism & Legal History


COURSE OF LEGAL HISTORY – 1st MODULE
The Ius Commune – Interinstitutional Group on The History of Legal Culture invites everyone to participate in the 1st module of the 2019 edition of the traditional Course of Legal History. This year, we will work on the theme Feminism and History of Law. In the first module, we will discuss female participation in the British Parliament with parliament’s associate researcher, Priscila Pivatto. We will also have the participation of Professor Dr.S. Marília Denardin Budó, who will comment and present her contributions to the theme.

COURSE OF LEGAL HISTORY – 2nd MODULE
The Ius Commune – Interinstitutional Group on The History of Legal Culture invites everyone and everyone to participate in the 2nd module of the Course of Legal History 2019, which will take place in the CCJ/UFSC Council Room. Today, the professor Ana Lúcia Sabadell (UFRJ) will give a lecture entitled “Some methodological reflections on the contribution of the history of law to the studies of the legal condition of women.”. Later, the professors Danielle Wobeto (Don Bosco College and UFPR) and Grazielly Baggenstoss (UFSC) will comment on feminist methodologies and the history of law.
