Course: La história del derecho de propiedad: la cultura jurídica europea y el Derecho brasileño
In the coming weeks we will have the presence of Professor Jesús Miguel Lobato Gómez, professor of civil law at the Universidad de León (Spain). He will teach a course on the history of property, entitled “La história del derecho de propiedad: la cultura jurídica europea y el Derecho brasileño” – an essential theme for the knowledge of historians of law, but also for privatists. The objective is to better understand the conformation and transformation of the Sunday model in the European legal culture and its reflections on Brazilian law. In all, there will be three classes on november 22nd, 26th and 29th, at 2:00 p.m. in room 303 of the Center for Legal Sciences.
In addition, on 12/03 Professor Gómez will present the lecture “El legado jurídico del reino de León: un reino medieval olvidado y el camino de Santiago de Compostela” about the Kingdom of León and the legal regulation of the Camino de Santiago de Compostela, at 8:30 a.m., in the AUDITORIUM of the CCJ.
And to give a taste of what we will have in the coming weeks, we leave here an excerpt from the book “Propiedad privada del suelo y derecho a edifica”, authored by Professor Gómez.
Participation in the event confers a certificate of 12h/class.
